These groups are composed of residents who have expertise in the subject areas. They will develop measurable objectives and work plans pursuant to the goals and objectives in the strategic plan, as well as inform that process.

Public Safety – Crime prevention, police-community relations, safe havens, positive alternatives,
Social Service – Resources available, gaps in service for families and children in need of assistance, HCV services, family supports, mental health
Youth – Youth engagement, mentoring, jobs, recreation, peer counseling and support, advocacy
Community Engagement – block clubs, areas, stakeholder recruitment, businesses, ministerial alliances, etc. NEXUS
Media/Marketing – marketing strategies, community promotion, billboards, social media engagement, press relations
Resource Development – funding strategies, grants, sponsorships, fundraisers, etc.
Technology – web development, online communications strategies, NEXUS, tech center
Intergovernmental – liase with units of government, elected and appointed officials, lobbying
