Sisters In Cinema Media Arts Center Opening in the Fall 2021

Yvonne Welbon, founder and chief executive officer of Sisters in Cinema, was accompanied by Mayor Lori Lightfoot and other city officials at a groundbreaking ceremony held at the South Shore Culture Center. The first of its kind to come to South Shore, this media arts center will provide programming for women and non-binary media-makers. Watch groundbreaking here.
