The First Black Skiers Inducted Into Hall of Fame

Author Clay and Ben Finley, the creators of the National Brotherhood of Skiing Est. 1973, were finally inducted into the Hall of Fame after over sixty years of dedication to the sport and the encouragement of the sport toward people of color. Author Clay, deemed the "Godfather" of skiing by south side Chicagoans, spoke to the Hyde Park Herald about his time on the slopes and the memorabilia in his South Shore home.
