Bryn Mawr Community Church Presented "South Shore Family Day"

Bryn Mawr Community Church partnered with South Shore Works to present "South Shore Family Day" on February 12th, 2022 from 10:30AM to 1:00PM. The Church graciously allowed South Shore Works members to join their soup kitchen event that occurs every Saturday, so patrons could receive a hot meal and the option of a vaccine or booster shot. Not only did participants get to take home food to their families, they were given with K95 masks and hand sanitizer as parting gifts, as well.

South Shore Hospital also partnered with South Shore Works to distribute the vaccinations. There were a lot of first-timers present and nervous about getting the shot, but the patient nurses from South Shore Hospital talked to people, answered their questions and let the people decide which vaccination they wanted based on their facts and statistics. There were forty three vaccinations given out at the event - three Moderna and forty Pfizer shots.
